Advanced BJJ in Vienna:
Advanced & All Levels
Advanced BJJ in Vienna: the Advanced class is for colored belts only, working on more complex techniques and live situations, while in All Levels you roll with every belt almost daily. For blue, purple, brown and black belts who want to take their game to the next level.
What you train in advanced BJJ in Vienna
Building on Fundamentals, Advanced is about depth rather than breadth: systems instead of single techniques, concepts instead of recipes, and sparring that challenges you.
- 01
Attack chains
Combine submissions: from armbar to triangle to omoplata, until your partner runs out of answers.
- 02
Guard systems
Spider, lasso, De la Riva, worm guard: modern guards with gi grips and the sweeps that go with them.
- 03
Passing concepts
Pressure, pace and grip strategy against any guard, from toreando to leg drag.
- 04
Escapes under pressure
Get out of bad positions against good opponents – early and with technique.
- 05
Competition strategy
Points, advantages, time management and game planning, even if you never compete.
- 06
Live sparring
Positional and free sparring with colored belts every class, plus Q&A with the coach.
